Dancing is my sketching and my fire starter. The images grow from my heart through my hands. I do not know before and I have a feeling. There is something and then it changes, just like music, the beat of the heart.

I wish to nourish the passionate creative fire in our bodies. I deepen my relationship with life building elements: earth, fire, water and wind. My art is practical, grounded in my physical, emotional and spiritual body. I dance and I paint organic movement through my body in connection with earth and sky.

I am breaking through illusions and belief systems to reach deeper truths of my core self. One way of describing my vision is through the french philosopher Deleuze (1925-1995): "Grass grows from the middle and not from the bottom or the top". In the dance I move from controlling rigidity towards freedom with responsibility. Dancing and painting are in mutual relationship.
