Ecstatic dance is meditation in movement, consciously breathing, relaxing and focusing on how the body wants to move. There are no steps to learn. You practice listening to your body, shifting from thinking to sensing. We dance together without losing the individual dance. We make connection with each other through physical creative expression. The focus changes from one bodypart to another and from the body as a whole to its environment and the other dancers, and back again into the body. The movement of breathing in and breathing out is fundamental to this dance.
